Welcome to the Second Grade Blog! A note from Your Second Grade Teachers Some friendly daily reminders: We are now in Quarter 2 October 10 - October 14 - Fall Break, No School and parent teacher conferences. - Parents please do not forget to sign up for your scholars parent teacher conference for Oct 10 - Oct 11. October 17 - October 20 - Students return There will be no school on Friday October 21 (Teacher Professional Development day) Parents, please read and sign agenda daily. Also, sign Behavior chart if there is a note on the back of the calendar. Scholars read 20 minutes daily, record in Reading Log, parents initial daily. Students can earn up to 10pts weekly towards their Reading grade. If your scholar is going to be absent from school, please email attendance@greatheartswesternhills.org . Also, if you have a doctor's note or a written excuse, please send that in or email the teacher and attendance office too.
